Tata Electronics, Apple’s primary iPhone manufacturer and a Tesla supplier, confirmed a ransomware breach by ‘World Leaks’ resulting in approximately 630 GB of exfiltrated data published on the dark web. Exposed data includes manufacturing and component design specifications for Apple and Tesla products, employee passport copies, and internal communications. Apple and Tesla were not directly breached but hold confidential intellectual property that is now publicly compromised through their trusted manufacturing partner.
