Nitrogen ransomware group has confirmed a double-extortion attack against Foxconn’s North American manufacturing facilities, claiming exfiltration of approximately 11 million files including engineering documents. As a Tier-1 contract manufacturer for Apple, Google, and NVIDIA, Foxconn’s compromise creates downstream risk for OEM partners who share proprietary design data. Organizations with network connectivity, VPN tunnels, or data exchange relationships with Foxconn should audit those connections immediately.
