AI Agents News: NVIDIA Launches NeMoClaw Open-Source Security Stack for Enterprise Agent Deployments

1 min read Wired Partial S
NVIDIA used GTC 2026 to push well past hardware, launching NeMoClaw, an open-source security layer for the OpenClaw agent platform, alongside Nemotron 3 Super, a new open model built for agentic AI workloads. The dual announcement signals NVIDIA's intent to own the infrastructure beneath enterprise AI agents, not just the chips running them.

NVIDIA’s biggest move at GTC 2026 wasn’t silicon. It was software. The company launched NeMoClaw, an open-source stack that adds privacy and security controls to the OpenClaw agent platform. NeMoClaw doesn’t compete with OpenClaw. It extends it, adding the enterprise-grade security layer that organizations need before they’ll put AI agents into production environments.

Wired reported that NeMoClaw is part of NVIDIA’s push to court enterprise software companies by offering additional security for AI deployments. The platform is available now in early preview, with limited stability, a meaningful caveat for teams evaluating it for production use.

The second announcement, Nemotron 3 Super, is an open model using a hybrid Mamba-Transformer architecture. NVIDIA describes it as built for high-throughput agentic AI applications, trained using advanced reinforcement learning techniques and open datasets. No independent benchmark verification exists yet; all capability claims come from NVIDIA’s own materials. Anaconda announced that the Nemotron model family is now available in its AI Catalyst platform, which Anaconda describes as providing a governed and reproducible path for enterprise AI development.

GTC 2026 drew over 30,000 attendees from more than 190 countries. The conference ran March 16-19 in San Jose. Both Nemotron 3 Super and NeMoClaw were announced March 18.

Enterprise developers should treat NeMoClaw’s early preview status seriously. It’s a real capability gap being addressed, but not a production-ready solution yet.
