(parent of Strayer University and Capella University) sustained a data breach over February 23-25, 2026, exposing Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and passport numbers for more than 100,000 individuals. No CVE is assigned; the attack vector is unconfirmed. Organizations with data-sharing, integration, or federated identity relationships with Strategic Education must audit those connections and treat any shared credentials as potentially compromised.
