AWS has moved two AI-driven capabilities to general availability: AWS Continuum, targeting AI-accelerated cloud vulnerability detection and remediation, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, a framework for building and deploying production-grade AI agents with autonomous cloud action capabilities. No CVEs or active exploitation are associated with these releases. The primary security concern is governance of autonomous AI agents that operate with credentialed IAM permissions in production cloud infrastructure — a new attack surface class that existing detection and access control frameworks may not adequately cover.
