Check Point VPN gateways running the deprecated IKEv1 protocol are under active exploitation via an authentication bypass vulnerability (CVE-2026-50751, CVSS 9.8) that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to gain access to protected network segments without valid credentials. Check Point has released an emergency hotfix and organizations must apply it immediately or disable IKEv1 as an interim measure. Any Check Point VPN deployment with IKEv1 enabled is currently a live exposure until remediated.
