Bomgar (now marketed as BeyondTrust Remote Support) is named as one of the remote access tools abused by Silent Ransom Group in attacks against U.S. law firms. BeyondTrust Remote Support is an enterprise-grade product typically deployed by IT organizations and MSPs, making its presence on an endpoint more indicative of a managed IT environment — and therefore a higher-trust target for social engineering that impersonates IT support. No vulnerability in the product is being exploited.
