Each tool maps directly to a specific Chinese regulation or filing requirement. Pick the ones that apply to your operations.
Why China-Specific Templates Matter
China’s AI regulatory system operates differently from the EU AI Act and US frameworks. The CAC filing system requires documentation in simplified Chinese, with specific security self-assessments, keyword filtering libraries, and test question banks that have no equivalent in Western compliance programs. Generic AI governance checklists do not cover these requirements.
These tools are structured around China’s eight core laws and regulations: PIPL, DSL, CSL, the Algorithm Recommendation Provisions, Deep Synthesis Provisions, GenAI Interim Measures, AI Content Labeling Provisions, and Science/Technology Ethics Review Measures. Each tool maps its checklist items to specific articles in the relevant regulation.
How the Tools Work Together
Start with the CAC Filing Readiness Assessment to determine which filing type applies to your service. Use the Compliance Checklist to track obligations across all eight laws. For multinationals transferring data, the Cross-Border Decision Tree identifies which PIPL Art. 38 mechanism you need. The Regulatory Mapping tool shows which Chinese requirements overlap with existing EU or NIST documentation you may already have. The Content Labeling Guide covers the September 2025 labeling rules, and the Ethics Committee Template addresses the April 2026 committee requirements.
All tools are self-contained HTML files. Open them in any browser, fill in your details, and print to PDF. No software installation required.
