The Qualys-disclosed CrackArmor vulnerability set targets the Linux AppArmor kernel security module via confused deputy flaws, allowing local unprivileged users to escalate to root by bypassing mandatory access controls (CVSS 7.8, High). Ubuntu has published an advisory; individual CVE identifiers are pending NVD assignment and should be tracked for updates. There is no confirmed in-the-wild exploitation at this time, but the direct path to root on multi-user and internet-exposed Linux systems warrants immediate patching on priority hosts and local access restriction where patching is delayed.
