In my small-scale testing, I had to upgrade from a 650W to 1000W power supply just to support newer GPUs, and I constantly monitor power consumption to prevent breaker trips. If individual hobbyists are reaching residential power limits, think about what companies trying to deploy at scale are experiencing.
